I was playing RBI Baseball for NES and when the ball was hit to the left field corner, I couldn't get to it b/c the L/R axis was off. There's always human error, but i'm fairly certain it's not the case.this time. For example: to move left, I may have to push the down button. It does make sense for the U/D L/R axis to be the same/similar, but when in a game, it's just not quite right.
Anyone else have this problem/fix? I've been able to set up the Select/Start A/B buttons, so I assume I'm doing it correctly. Therefore, using the joystick is almost useless. What I mean is: when setting the 'UP', it'll say the exact same thing as when setting 'DOWN', an setting the 'LEFT' will be the exact same thing as 'RIGHT'. It appears that the UP/Down axis and Left/Right axis can be changed. When in Nestopia>Preferences>Joystick, I seem to be able to configure the joystick, however the up/down left/right setup has been a thorn in my side. I also bought a Nintendo joystick that can be used via USB.
